Arrival by train
From Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof (main station) take train R 65 and get off at stop “TU Lichwiese”. Alternatively, take a train to Darmstadt Hauptbahnhof then take tram 2 which has “TU Lichtwiese” as its final stop.
Arrival by airplane
Frankfurt International Airport is a central hub in Germany and Europe. From the airport there is a bus that goes straight to Darmstadt main station: the HEAG-Airliner Shuttle Bus takes only 25 minutes. The bus departs from Bus Stop 14 across the street from the exit doors of Terminal 1 at the airport. The bus usually departs every 1/2 an hour. You can download the timetable from the HEAG mobilo website.
From Darmstadt Hauptbahnhof take tram 2 to “TU Lichtwiese”.
Arrival by car
Take the highway exit “Darmstadt” at interchange “Darmstädter Kreuz” and follow the signs for “Stadtmitte”. From there follow the signs “TU-Lichtwiese”.
